As part of my role at Statement, I collaborated with a product manager at the company to design a dashboard for the platform’s reconciliation module. This module enables users to match invoices and credit memos with transactions, ensuring accurate financial records.
The dashboard was created to provide users with a clear, actionable view of their company’s invoicing and reconciliation data, including key statistics, trends, and risk assessments, to support better decision-making and prioritization of tasks
The AR Collection Bar Component
This component provides a snapshot of the company’s progress in the invoice lifecycle, from issuing invoices to receiving payments and reconciling transactions. It highlights outstanding amounts, payments collected, and reconciled transactions. Thus, it’s aimed at helping users to quickly assess performance and identify gaps.
The AR aging pie chart
The AR aging component sorts invoices by due date ranges, presenting an overview of overdue and upcoming payments. The donut chart, paired with a detailed legend, illustrates the distribution of amounts across time periods, enabling users to focus on specific timeframes as needed. This visualization serves as a reference for understanding the current status of accounts receivable.
